YOUTH PROGRAM: ARTIST APPLICATIONS

“Vines provides artistic avenues of sharing what is valuable in the world which is not material things.”

Vines is seeking youth participants of varying experience (age 16-24) who have an interest in political and environmental conversations for a multi-week program in arts practices. This is a FREE program and includes payment for a final project all youth will create for the festival.

You will take part in 8 workshops which will cover various topics (Artistic Disruption, First Nations Protocol, Group Building, Public Art, Performance/Presences, Embodiment, Project Management). Following the workshops, participants will break into focus groups and create a project to be presented in Vines 2018 Festival in August.
