FREE PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH
If you’re passionate about getting creative, social justice, and the environment, great news: Vines Art Festival is offering a FREE multi-week summer program for emerging artists aged 16-24 to create, collaborate, and dialogue with their peers. The Vines Youth Program guides participants through a series of diverse artistic practices designed to enrich your enjoyment of art.
Participants will take part in 12 sessions covering various topics such as Artistic Disruption, First Nations Protocol, Group Building, Public Art, Performance/Presences, Embodiment, and Project Management. Following the workshops, participants will break into focus groups and develop a project to be presented at Vines Art Festival in August. Come share your creativity with the world!
This is a FREE program and includes payment for your project in the festival. This program is for youth aged 16-24.

The program runs from June 4 – August 6, 2019 on Tuesdays with the exception of July 29 and August 5, which run on Mondays.
