“Vines provides artistic avenues of sharing what is valuable in the world which is not material things.”
FREE ONLINE PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER PROGRAM FOR EMERGING CREATIVES
Calling upon emerging creatives of all experiences and all artistic practice to join us in an exploration of our relationship to community and the systems that hold us up and hold us back. This is an opportunity for us to steadily return to a physical society with sustainability, deep care, and gratitude for the land that has felt distant for so many of us. We will gather weekly in a collaborative, artist-facilitated space to create a performance/installation piece that will be featured at the 7th Annual Vines Art Festival. This free, multi-week program will include a variety of art practice workshops, a dedicated team of mentors and payment for your finished project.
Participants will take part in skill share workshops to introduce and dive into creating new work, followed by mentorship sessions in which participants will break into focus groups and be paired with a group mentor. Mentors are dedicated specifically to develop your final project which will be presented at the Vines Art Festival in August. With guidance from our mentor.
This is a FREE program and includes payment for your project in the festival.
